The Broker — The Short Version
TabTrade launched in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection matters. It says the founder has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. It is preferable to a random name you cannot trace.
The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.
What you can trade: forex, indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For something that is a few months old, the breadth is not narrow.
What You Trade On
Available: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both platforms from one account. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Having both matters. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. Faster charting. Native automated trading. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.
FIX API is available for algo traders but requires the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is reportedly coming. That should make the platform set when it arrives.
Costs
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. $0 to start. Suits beginners.
Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. This broker has no minimum.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, faster fills, custom pricing. Not something most retail traders. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.
Infrastructure
The speed is where Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.
Does it matter? For short-term trading, yes. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. The point is they invested in proper execution. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Combine those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the total package makes sense. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.
The FSRA Question
Now, the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
But. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Scam brokers do not bother with proper execution infrastructure. This does not guarantee anything. It should inform your assessment.
The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that is worth it is your call.
The Bonus
Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard sign-up bonus. You put money in, they top up your balance. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before you commit.
